Delhi AQI falls to moderate level

The National Capital Region’s air quality improved significantly and fell to moderate levels. The Delhi Police seized over 800 kg of banned firecrackers during raids in the north and west Delhi. This move is after the order by Supreme Court which said only ‘green crackers’ will be sold in Delhi-NCR during Diwali.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) on 4th November was 171. This range falls in the moderate category. Earlier, the AQI ranged 336 on 3rd November.
